Free Winx Club Bloom Doll Dress Crochet Pattern

Dearest Readers,

My daughter requested a crocheted dress for the Winx Club Bloom doll she got for Christmas so I designed this strapless one for her, which has no fasteners for children to fool with and slides up over the doll's feet. The dress will fit quite snugly.

Materials:
Small amounts Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in 2 colors
Size H crochet hook

Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1" (If you have trouble with the fit, just go up or down a hook size or 2 until you get it just right).

Rnd 1: (Top of Dress) With Color A, ch 11, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 2, hdc in next ch and in each ch around, join w sl st in top of 1st hdc (11 hdc).

Rnd 2: Ch 2, hdc in next hdc and in each hdc around, join as before (11 hdc).

Rnd 3: Rep Rnd 2 (11 hdc).

Rnd 4: Ch 2, hdc dec over next 2 hdc, hdc in each rem hdc around, join as before (10 hdc).

Rnd 5: Ch 2, hdc in next 8 hdc, 2 hdc in last hdc, join as before (11 hdc).

Rnd 6: Ch 2, hdc in same hdc, hdc in next 9 hdc, 2 hdc in last hdc, join as before (13 hdc).

Rnd 7: Ch 2, hdc in next hdc and in each hdc around, join as before (13 hdc). If you wish to change colors for the skirt, fo at this point and attach Color B in 1st hdc of Rnd 7. If not, continue with same color.

Rnd 8: Ch 3, dc in next 3 hdc, 2 dc in next hdc, dc in next 4 hdc, 2 dc in next hdc, dc in next 3 dc, dc in joining sl st of previous rnd (right before beg ch 3), join w sl st in top of beg ch 3 (16 dc).

Rnd 9: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (16 dc).

Rnd 10: Ch 3, dc dec over next 2 dc, dc in each rem dc around, join as before (15 dc).

Rnd 11: Ch 3, dc in next 12 dc, dc dec over next 2 dc, fo (14 dc).
